Job Description
As part of GDSI’s Ignite Internship Program, interns in this category will support GDSI’s corporate functions, including sales, marketing, and customer relationship management. They will focus on business growth strategies and operational efficiency.
Sales and Market Development
- Assist in lead generation, prospect outreach, and market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and reports that align with customer needs.
- Gain exposure to client negotiations and develop communication skills essential for B2B sales.
- Engage with GDSI Integrated Digital Marketing Team in crafting compelling narratives and creating social media content about standby power generation
Customer Engagement and Support
- Assist in handling customer inquiries, tracking feedback, and managing client relations.
- Support loyalty-building initiatives by coordinating follow-ups and engagement strategies.
- Help implement after-sales service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Supply Chain and Inventory Management
- Assist in tracking inventory levels of generator parts and supplies.
- Support procurement activities by researching cost-effective suppliers.
