Job Description
As part of GDSI’s Ignite Internship Program, interns in this category will focus on the engineering and operational aspects of the generator business. Their roles will involve research, maintenance, and technical support to enhance GDSI’s service and project management efficiency.
Technical Research and Engineering Support
- Assist in the study of generator efficiency, alternative energy integrations, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop technical reports, troubleshooting manuals, and performance analysis documents.
- Support product testing and research to improve generator technology and stay ahead of industry trends.
Maintenance and Service Support
- Work with the service team to perform diagnostics and minor repairs on generators.
- Learn about generator installation and commissioning procedures.
- Engage in field exposures involving project turnovers, commissioning, testing, and maintenance works.
The program exposes interns to real-world field knowledge on electromechanical works, involving both electrical and mechanical engineering, with project management competencies unique only to this industry.
Each internship is tailor fit depending on student and academic requirements.
