G-Drive Solutions, Inc. (GDSI) first opened its doors to engineering and project management interns in February 2024 through its specialized Operations and Engineering Internship Program. In February 2025, the company expanded its internship offerings to include a new track: the Business Administration Internship Program.
Meet the First Business Administration Interns
Carlos San Jose – Junior Consultant Intern
Carlos San Jose, a student from the University of Asia & the Pacific’s Master of Science in Management program, became GDSI’s first-ever Business Administration intern. He joined as a Junior Consultant Intern under the UA&P Business Academe Partnership (BAP) program for master’s students.
Carlos received a unique opportunity to work in the energy and standby power generation sector—an industry rarely explored by management students. During his internship, he created market briefs, developed a standardized sales playbook, proposed optimization technologies, supported administrative tasks, and even closed a 250kVA generator project for a hospital installation. Throughout his five-month internship, he made valuable contributions to the Metro Manila operations team through process improvements, project leadership, and strategic recommendations.
Sei Alonzo – Business Development Intern
Another intern, Sei Alonzo, later joined the Business Development team. Sei is a student of UA&P’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), majoring in Management. As part of his 300-hour project-based internship, he worked on digital marketing and brand strategy.
Under the supervision of GDSI’s own Anthony Betia, Sei helped create the company’s first-ever Brand Book. He also developed GDSI’s first standardized digital marketing strategy plan, which now serves as the foundation for the company’s ongoing digital initiatives.
A Culture of Creative Freedom
GDSI’s internship program stands out due to its emphasis on autonomy and innovation. Interns are encouraged to explore ideas, conduct research, and propose improvements that support the company’s nationwide expansion.
Both Carlos and Sei celebrated their graduation during UA&P’s 30th Commencement Exercises on August 16, 2025, held at Solaire Resort and Casino. The ceremony honored 414 graduates across programs in Business, Economics, Humanities, IT, Marketing, Education, and Law.
G-Drive Solutions continues to be recognized as a rewarding and dynamic workplace. To explore internship opportunities with GDSI, visit the current openings through the company’s official careers page.
