G-Drive Solutions has supplied standby power systems to support broadcast operations of People’s Television Network (PTV-4), deploying 165-kilovolt-ampere (kVA) generator sets to transmission tower facilities in Laoag and Davao City.
The generator units were installed to provide reliable backup power for the broadcast infrastructure, ensuring that transmission operations can continue even during power interruptions. Continuous electricity supply is critical for broadcast towers, where any disruption can interrupt television programming and public information services.
As the Philippine government’s flagship broadcast network, PTV-4 operates transmission facilities across the country to deliver news, public affairs programs, and emergency announcements. Backup power systems play a vital role in maintaining uninterrupted operations, particularly during severe weather events and unexpected grid outages.
The deployment of the 165 kVA generator sets strengthens the resilience of PTV-4’s regional broadcast infrastructure, helping ensure that viewers in Northern Luzon and Mindanao continue to receive reliable television signals and important government communications.
Through projects supporting broadcast, telecommunications, and other critical infrastructure, G-Drive Solutions continues to provide standby power systems that enhance operational reliability for essential services across the Philippines.
